Mark Bouris AM is an Australian entrepreneur who has been innovating for years, challenging the business landscape with disruptive models that help Australians succeed. Best known as the founder of 'Wizard Home Loans', Australia's second largest non-bank mortgage lender which he sold to General Electric in 2004.
Mark is now the executive chairman of Yellow Brick Road, where he continues to help Australians access their dream homes.
After decades of experience in business, Mark is committed to sharing the insights and knowledge of Australia’s leading business minds through the Mentored Platform, which helps small business owners and entrepreneurs come together, grow, and succeed. JP has coached large teams for some of the world's best-known businesses. There are great things about that coaching style, especially the ‘energy of the crowd’, but due to the sheer number of people (often 100+), some of the learnings are diluted and generalised.
Simply put, a smaller number of guests allows JP and Mark to engage more effectively with each and every person.
We intend to keep the cohort connected after the event. All guests who attend The Pitch Retreat will get priority access to subsequent events, and new spots will only become available if and when current guests do not wish to attend.
Transfers to and from the airport in a private car service, two nights in a luxury hotel, all meals (two dinners, three lunches, two breakfasts) and drinks provided by celebrity chefs, all wellness activities provided (pilates, cold and hot therapy, yoga, breath work) by expert trainers and practitioners, all learning curriculum (Winning The Room methodology and comprehensive takeaway material), and VIP gift bags. We want to get into the details of every guest's pitch, so we need to be able to share our ideas freely as a team.
Every guest will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement to protect their ideas and the ideas of other guests.
This is a passion project for Mark and JP.
JP will lead the Winning The Room programming, and Mark will welcome all guests, take part in various organised activities and, of course, be present on the final day for judging.
Mark and JP purpose-built and hand-picked the entire experience. The meals, wellness activies, and high performance activities are part of the curriculum but not compulsory.
Naturally, the more you attend, the more you benefit.
The Pitch Retreat is non-refundable. However, you can gift your ticket to another guest. If you choose to do so, all you need to do is contact us and we will arrange on your behalf.
That said, we appreciate that life is unpredictable and unforeseen things happen. If something comes up that prevents you from attending, we will do our best to find a solution for you.
